How do I connect to a VPN server?

You would need two things: The IP address of the server you're going to connect to (there's a great resource that lists most VPN servers with their IP addresses and server names here ), and the login credentials for your VPN account.

If you registered with an email address, chances are it will be in the format: “[email protected]”.

If you aren't sure, it is suggested that before you pay for a VPN account you test out their free trial to see how the process of connecting works. Consumer VPNs like ExpressVPN, NordVPN, Surfshark, AtlasVPN and Private Internet Access are popular for accessing Netflix, Amazon Video, and other streaming services 

Once you have this information all set up, go into your device's connection settings and search for “VPN”. Once inside of your list of connections, tap on “add” in the upper right corner, and select the “import from” option.

From there you can select your VPN client type (such as PPTP), then input either the IP address or server name into that field. Lastly, enter all of your log-in credentials for that account.
