With the block editor and site editor, users can now build designs visually and easily. Patterns are collections of content blocks arranged in a pre-designed layout, ranging from a few lines of text to full-page layouts.
The Ollie block theme comes with beautifully designed page and section patterns, and users can browse and insert them using the block inserter’s patterns tab.
The video demonstrates how to use and create patterns, make them full-width, and use synced patterns for information that doesn’t need frequent updates.
Template parts, such as headers and footers, can also be updated using patterns, offering additional flexibility to make changes without affecting other areas of the site.
