NordVPN was a massive disappointment

I hope some people who are in my situation can read this post and avoid my mistake.

I work at remote locations are rely solely on employer provided WI-FI, it is usually very restricted and closely monitored and you have no privacy whatsoever, so using a VPN is a must but they often block the most common VPN servers.

I used Surfshark before Nord to generally good results but it was lacking in some aspects, when my subscription expired I switched to Nord thinking it was an upgrade an...

That's why we suggest Mullvad and IVPN.

I tried it for a few days and it was a nightmare, it disconnected me randomly all the time, that does not happen with ExpressVPN which I still have until May 12 when my subscription ends and I will not renew it, I will go to ProtonVPN, in short, in my short experience I would say that NordVPN sucks and I would not recommend it to any friend or relative of mine.

Another issue with Nord is their kill switch feature, it does not work well. It leaves you exposed when the VPN drops and you are back on your real IP address.

Also came from Surfshark to NordVPN and can second every word you write.
All NordVPN is good at is placing positive reviews on the internet.

Hey mate, literally same situation happened to me, recently cloudflare started blocking NordVPN servers, 99/100 are marked as VPN servers and I get straight block. Support couldn’t help me, I had to switch to Surfshark and 90/100 servers are good to go. But you must always have a back-up, as a Self Hosted VPN at your residence in US, if you don’t have one, ask a friend or somebody close to you, g...

I had Nord around 2020 and it worked beautifully. I then tried out SurfShark and while it got the job done, it wasn't as good as Nord was. I returned to Nord recently and it has been a daily nightmare. I have to change servers multiple times a day.
